Hello everyone so ill just provide my story real quick then provide you guys with some really helpful information! So i noticed my visual snow one night when i stayed up crazy late like 7am and i was also in cannabis withdrawl which probably messed up my chemical balance. I was looking around and i noticed the wall seemed to have some type of static to it. Nothing else really, it wasn't over my vision completley so i just thought it could be because of sleep deperevation or something so i went to sleep. The next morning i noticed it hadn't gone away but gotten worse. It was more noticable and i could see it most surfaces i looked at, yet not completley over my visual feild. The next 3 weeks i was so depressed, upset and just scared! I had no idea what was wrong with me or what was happening. I eventually found out this was visual snow, a real thing and felt sort of relieved. Over the next month i got used to it and adjusted, i told my parents about it as im only 17 and they said they will try and find solutions to it. I was very optimistic and positive at this point, but after trying different medications and diets nothing worked. I was back to being this depressed little ball that would just lay in bed all day and not go out at all due to me being focused on the snow no matter what. But then my mom called me one day and told me she found this world renouned doctor that has cured visual snow previously and cured many other whacky "uncureable" things with acupuncture. This got me very excited, so i hopped right into it. He first started the accupuncture to treat my eyes, id get many needles all over my body and pass out for an hour while they're in. After 6 treatments i was getting worried as i noticed no differance other than adjusting to the snow very well. By the 7th treatment he changed me over to neurological treatment instead of eye treatment which i very much wanted and within 2 treatments ive already noticed a differance! My visual snow has died down very much and i can look at it and laugh now because of how little it is. I believe acupuncture is a very effective treatment but many people knock it off because its not the standard western medicine and because no one stays with it long enough to get any benifit. Ive read many stories of people going to acupuncute to cure visual snow but they went to only 3-5 treatments and gave up! Healing is a process and wont happen that fast, if you're desperatly looking for a cure.. try acupuncture. I belive within more weeks of this my snow will be next to gone and im so happy! I will update how my eyes are in the future. Also anothe thing ive noticed with visual snow is that sleep is very, very important. Get as much sleep as you can every night for the snow to be at its least. When i sleep for 6 hours or under its back to being horriable but if i get a good sleep of 7-8 hours it seems to be next to nothing! Its great!! Hope you guys benifit off of this information!!
