Just spoke to a Chiropractor after reading and researching all this stuff about Sub-Occipital release massages and the Chiropractor said she knew the treatment and could perform it no problem. I explained to her my symptoms briefly and said that a lot of people had successfully got rid of them using this; She said she's never heard of as many symptoms, but this treatment is a good way of getting rid of and preventing migraines, headaches and muscular stress in that area.
I'm only sceptical because the world of Chiropractic treatment is ridiculously expensive and a lot of it could be made up BS. It's going to cost me £30 for a consultation and another £30 for treatment if I need it, (which obviously I will, they'll want as much out of me as they can get). That's about $95 for US VSers
I want to see if my neck reducing blood circulation to the optic nerve, (or whatever else people have suggested could be triggering VS), is the cause of my problem, I know it's only a temporary fix if it does work but I'd do anything to get rid of this, even for a short period of time.
I'm posting just to ask if anyone has had any success with massage therapy, or have noticed any symptoms changing because of neck/back tension/movement/damage. It might just save me a bit of money!
Thanks guys!
