Need help... I've had visual snow all of my life, so I've learned to deal with it for the most part. But reading sucks. I stopped reading for fun in junior high, even though most of my friends are still avid readers.
But now I'm in university, and forced to read the equivalent of at least fifty pages a day.
The letters always look like they're "glowing" or shining or something (with black text on a white page, at least). It's hard to describe exactly, but that's as close as it'll get. Anyone else get this? It takes me literally ages just to read one page, 'cause my eyes have a lot of trouble focusing on the shining letters.
Now I'm falling behind because I either give up on the readings due to frustration, or I spend so much time reading that I don't have enough time to study. This is the first time VS has truely caused something besides annoyance to me. I'm not impressed.
Any advice? :/
