Hello, so it's my first post, but I've read a lot of information on this site regarding visual snow. Thanks, it's good that there is a community for this even though there is no real cure on the matter. Just for background my symptoms are not terrible. If I focus on a solid color I can see it, but I really need to focus. My everyday life is not effect.
Anyways, the weird thing I noticed was, one day, I had closed one of my eyes and focus on a spot on the wall. Keeping my one eye closed, with my hand over it, for maybe 15 seconds the snow became very noticeable. Almost blinding. A few seconds after opening both eyes my vision was back to normal or as normal as it can be with VS. I tried the other eye and same thing. This really scared me, but I just let it go. I wasn't too concerned because a month prior to this I visited a neuro-ophthalmologist and he assured me that my VS is just something that happens to certain people and MAY go away one day, but will never get worse.
Every once in a while I try doing this one eye closed thing, just to see if anything changed, and it's always the same outcome. I don't know. I just thought I'd post my experience with VS.
