Thanks

I work from home so can always pop in regularly & do a job. I run my own website & messageboard as Ian already knows so I do know the process off the
top of my head when it comes to being a moderator. Let me know.

SopuliSusie is the only active moderator, so perhaps she is the best bet for a stand-in admin, as
we can at least say that being a moderator counts for some official approval.
I would volunteer myself as I am active (several times, at the moment, quite sadly) daily and having run a yuku test forum for some time to try and solve the skin problems we had with this one, I at least understand the admin CP - though I stepped down as a moderator awhile back after a dispute over forum policy, so perhaps I am disqualified on that ground. The difficulty is that there are very few people who have both been here for a long time and are active - though since admin intervention is not usually required round here, if we can cast any sort of vote I put mine behind Susie, as a current moderator, - if she is happy to take up the position. |

I totally agree with Cobalt. Susie would be the best person for the job, as long as she is okay with it

i would volunteer, as i am an admin on a few other forums, and i know a bit about managing them... or at least the technical aspects, though i have no doubt
that others on this board are even more experienced on the matter than i am.

I question everything. i will question this snow, i will ask it what it wants, i will ask it why it's here, and ill ask it when it plans to leave. so far it has declined to answer. when it does.... i may make a mess on myself.

I can run much faster than Colbat, Vulture, Arielle & that SopuliSusie put together. Plus, I shout Arielle over Facebook all the time & she comes back
40 minutes late with out an excuse. What does that tell you?

That tells you I am busy at that exact moment in time and that I show you more respect than to give you a load of excuses. Not to mention that I have visual
problems and don't notice the tiny red flash in the corner of my screen that facebook feels is apt. (Bang goes my respect lol)
Anyway back to matters... I feel that a moderator should take the role, as they have been servicing this forum well and are trusted.

I agree, a moderator is a more appropriate choice.

Hi. I've been out of touch at a conference in very rural Brazil (just got internet access again here in lovely Rio). I can easily serve as an admin in the
assumption that Ian will be back. Or if he's unable to return, I can commit to at least the next few years.
But there are quite a few of us responsible types around I can't run very fast, but I do have 4 wheel drive and a lead foot. |

I'm sure most of the regulars are familiar with me and trust I'll use admin only to take down trolls/abuse
Play nice. |
