however, is it possible to ignore it to a point that it's no big deal? look through it? has anyone managed to do this? i believe its possible, even if here and now i can't manage it.
for example... try this: think about your breathing. don't breathe differently, just focus on it. now stop focusing on it... for a few seconds you will realize that it's somewhat harder to breathe, you may yawn a few times, breathe really deep, something of the sort as your brain struggles to get back on autopilot. by doing that you have just interrupted an automatic process... what if this could be done with VS? what if perhaps this is actually our brain off autopilot? or... what if we can set our brains to do it?
