I've been off caffeine more or less for a few years now. I was hoping that I might see an improvement in my VS with the consumption of Caffeine, but was
expecting no change.
To my surprise one large cup of strong regular tea made the snow, tinnitus and afterimages much worse. As the caffeine wore off the symptoms improved.
It shouldn't be that big of a surprise to me though, as I have noticed a very slight improvement with alcohol, which I had previously assumed was just me not caring as much.
I'm seriously contemplating trying "medicinal" marijuana next, it's supposed to help a lot of people suffering with epilepsy and my nausia when ever I yawn is getting old... I don't know if any of my meds would be a problem with it though.
Celexa
Topamax
Famotadine
Oh, and I tried Magnesium Oxide (125mg) for 2 weeks and only saw a slight increase in myoclonic jerks and tingling in the hands and feet and no other change, so I stopped. (I usually get enough Magnesium in my diet, and it is not a good one to have too much of.)
Cheers,
Jim
