Registered User Posts: 5010 Nov 6 07 6:18 AM	"dysfunction" just means "functional disturbance", i.e. a disturbance that does not necessarily require a substantial lesion but a disturbance of the processes going on in a certain part of brain temporal lobe and occipital lobe are parts of the human brain One knows that disturbances or lesions in temporal and/or occipital lobe may, in some cases, give rise to the cliinical presentation of dp/dr (e.g. temporal lobe epilepsy), therefore one can conclude, the other way round, that dp/dr can (in some cases) be a temporal-occipital dysfunction. It's just a statement that links the symptom dp/dr to the cerebral localisation of temporal and occipital lobe
