If you have a white cursor, move it around in this black space but just focuse on the middle of it as you do, paying attention to the cursor moving around. Now, does it look like this? Posts: 1496 10/30/07 9:25 AM Administrator	When I looked at your text last night, I assumed you had put a blurry pinkish reddish aura around all the words and shadowed the letters as well. This morning, I wonder if that was the case: so are those normal letters? Regardless, I get obvious autokinesis of letters that size. Very annoying. Regarding the mouse, I get a more distinct shadow closer to the mouse... and if I move the mouse around I can spell out letters with the faint trailing. Although I'm getting the polyopia with the trails- I think that might actually be due to the actual representation on the mouse pointer on the screen, because I usually don't ever get that. I'll have to ask a normal person about my mouse pointer later on. Need to cheer yourself up? Watch the Kitty Cat Dance!

The text does have a pink blur bleeding into the blackness around it, but no shadows, but I see the "shadows" too just so you know. With the cursor, all I get is the obvious white cloud that follows behind the cursor at the same distance and speed. Registered User Posts: 5010 10/30/07 3:41 PM	What happens with the spot following the cursor when you stop with the cursor, does the spot remain in the given distance? or does it disappear? Registered User Posts: 383 10/30/07 3:45 PM	When I stop moving the cursor, the cloud catches up and quickly shrinks inside the cursor until its no longer noticeable. Its a (spot, cloud, blur), not the exact shape of the cursor, but the size of course does seem to be affected by the shape of the cursor. What do you see when a movement of the cursor starts. Do you see the blur immediately, is the distance at the beginning different from the constant distance it seems to have later on?

I see a hundred cursor arrows in a row and when I move the circle there is a black circle where the last circle was, darker than the black of the screen. I don't see the green dot following the cursor. Without my Irlen filters on, I see what you do with the pink letters. With them on, the letters are crisp. Wendi

The pulsations and dark spots, etc. Its not an exact image, but I feel the person who made it suffers what I have or something similar. Try to fixate the cursor, then there should be no eye movements (?), do you see a sort oft duplicate (after-)image also then? If yes, where? The "shadow" is the negative afterimage, and the blur is the positive, which is usually less "in focus". I see negative images easier than positive, the positive usually being more obvious with moving objects and images or quickly closing my eyes. If you fixate a stationary object, assumed you have no involuntary eye movements, there "should" be no afterimages. There could be (monocular) diplopia, but such double image would not be expected to move. And again when the target begins to move and you follow it with your eye, there could be a trail or polyopia, but a sort of "double image" following at a constant distamce has not been described previously. So, unclassifiable visual disturbance reminiscent of features of voisual ,perseveration, but not fitting into any known category.

It clears up as soon as it appears, and usually happens if I move my head quickly. Sometimes it obscures my entire vision with static and bright blue-ish dots.
