Hello, i am new here. I have a history of ocular migraines and also had posterior iritis 14 months ago, which resulted in an adhesion on my retina in left eye. I am 61 years old in good health except for vision issues. Have also had posterior vitreous detachment both eyes, which left me with floaters. My newest complaint is left eye...in bright light I see this clear scallopped blob when I blink. In darker lighting or on computer I do not see it. It seems like in the area of blob there is pixelating...snow. I saw my iritis specialist, who is extremely brilliant and she ran a repeat OCT to compare to last years. There was no change. My vision with contacts is 20/20. I do have beginning cataracts. She said eyes looked good on dilation and on scan. Then what is this scallopped thing I see in bright light? Any thoughts. It is making me nuts.
