What I find really interesting is how my vision problems go haywire with high contrast things like this coat, text on a page etc... and low contrast objects, like a painted interior wall. Add in flourescent lighting and the problems seem to double.

In contrast, I spent a couple of hours in the bush yesterday (getting shot by paintballs - it sucks not to be able to run like I could a few months ago...) and the vision problems were minimal until dusk started to set in and contrast / light levels got too low. By then I had enough Te Bheag in me that I didn't care that my vision was messing up, we were pretty much done execept for a few rounds of '1812' (which is just a quick way for painballers to shoot eachother a bunch of times before going home) anyways.

I did notice even the minimal VS did reduce my ability to pick up movement at a distance, which is no surprise - my whole field of vision is moving... lol, but it wasn't too bad of an experience until my left leg went partially dead on me and I started falling over.. ha ha... bloody hemiplegic migraine.

At least I'll have some interesting bruises for the team to see during my muscle biopsy on Tuesday.
