I discussed a bunch of things with my Neurologist today.
Down to 50mg of Topamax
---- Now almost daily morning "Aura-like-disturbance" with no migraine, I will stay at 50mg for fear of morning migraine attacks.
---- No significant or noticeable overall increase or decrease in Myoclonal Jerks
---- No change in Tingling/Electric Shock, Still occasionally getting sensation of cold wet spot above ankle.
---- No Full Migraine Attacks
Depersonalization Attacks
---- Discussed at length, I will be sent for an EEG to try and spot Temporal Lobe Seizures
---- May try another drug, to arrest but not yet. Will wait until I'm done upping the Citalopram.
Effect of Sound on VS
---- Discussed Worsening of VS with sound
---- Neuro was intrigued by it but he did not seem to support synaesthesia theory. Such is the medical world!
---- Possibly some kind of partial seizure?
Still no news from Neuro-Muscular Clinic
---- We both asked the other if we heard news from the Neuro-Muscular Clinic. lol
---- Muscle Biopsy is next week. I said, "what the hell, it can't hurt." (ba-dum-bum) Oh yes, my sense of humour is back, someone take my happy pills away before someone is permanently injured, would you?
