I haven even thought about this for over 5 months, out of nowhere I started noticing it again I wonder if it actually went away or if I just tuned it out.

Registered User Posts: 56 03/04/08 10:41 AM	well ive only had it for a month, the first week was hell, i dont notice it when im outside having a good time and living life, and i dont notice it as much all together. for me im thinking im tuning it out.. as weird as it sounds i leave an object in the same spot, everyday i look at that object to gauge if it seems the same or not

Regular Visitor Posts: 180 03/04/08 11:04 AM	I can tune my VS out by being outside, doing something productive, or by watching TV. My biggest problem is eye floaters as they are so obvious in appearance. Put it this way, there isn't a time were i can't see them. If i had to choose between a cure for VS or eye floaters i would probably go with the eye floaters (i hate them that much)

Posts: 1496 03/04/08 11:28 AM Administrator	It's always there, but it doesn't bother me as much anymore (on an emotional level). The other visual issues will bug me, but that's because they will keep me from doing things. Like, today, things are moving pretty badly (autokinesis). That is annoying, but as long as I keep still, I can still work. Need to cheer yourself up? Watch the Kitty Cat Dance!

Registered User Posts: 19 03/04/08 12:20 PM	I think as long as i know it isn't or wont be anything bad it wont bother me. I've had it a year now, sort of used to it. When my mind is on other things i don't even notice it. If the headaches are connected, i could sure do without them tho lol. but id get used to living with th VS. only thing i get halos at night so im scared to learn to drive

Regular Visitor Posts: 449 03/04/08 1:55 PM	i can tune out the vs sometimes like if i am really busy or i am out and about. i can not tune out the after images or things like that though. floaters over time have not bothered me so much but i always notice them. when this first started i would get so anxious when i saw things like that but now its just here and something i have to live with.

Regular Visitor Posts: 397 03/04/08 7:37 PM	Remove this ad I've had the vs for about 3 years now. If I choose to notice it I can easily tell how severe it is. The floaters are really severe and are getting so that they actively block my vision while reading (I've got a big piece of debris like a hydra in the left eye right dead center--it's a floater but it's really distracting). The floaters compete with everything I look at, but I guess you just cope. Storm is coming--gotta go!

Im a positive person so im 100% sure i wont be stuck with this forever, the power of the mind is a wonderful thing and to me this is just another one of lifes tests of strength which im sure i'll get through! The headaches are abit of an annoyance at all times though and they -always- bother me.
