Well, I suggest bringing a list of symptoms and questions with you, because you are going to forget half of what you wanted to bring up! Bring any other medical documentation, like test results. Hopefully you have found an open-minded neuro, otherwise (hate to be negative, but experience tells us that) once you start talking about the visuals they get that "this person is nuts" look on his/her face. Hoping you get the "wow this person is interesting, let's see what we can find out" look instead! The neuro will test reflexes and regular doctor stuff, and anything s/he thinks might be related to the symptoms you are having. Then s/he will probably order tests, like MRI or EEG, maybe blood work to rule out some diseases that might cause some of the symptoms... maybe refer you to other specialties to get those areas checked as well. If s/he refers you to a psychologist or psychiatrist without ordering any other tests, consider going to another neuro because s/he does not believe one word of what you said!
