I would be interested in your observations, thoughts and considerations about this aspect. I am interested to start a thread about this aspect to obtain materials for a discussion of this aspect in the methodology section of ourt study report.

Simply put, if the internet didn't exist, I would probably just think I am the only person in the whole world with visual snow, as I would have to go to 100 docs before 1 tells me I have persistent aura. IN THE YEAR 2007 ALMOST 2008 THATS HOW IT IS. A vast majority of doctors out there still think we are nuts. A majority still think we are basically weak minded fools who should be put on prozac because we are apparently freaking out about "normal" visual symptoms everyone apparently sees. Everytime I read about this on this forum, I want to shoot someone. Pardon my Fench, but people bitch about stupid shit. "OMG!!! It took me an extra 15 minutes to get to work!! "These gas prices make me want to committ suicide!!" Blah, blah, blah, blah. Weak minded and requiring prozac my ass. Anyone who has negative feelings toward the Sofia Green Survey can think of where we would be today without this survey being conducted - NOWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God for Sofia Green and the actions she took (she is female right??). Her actions shall echo in eternity. Praise God for Ksomething for his continued tireless quest to help us attain answers into our life's big challenge and mystery. Praise God foe everyone contributing on this forum. I would say that at least 90% of all the information on visual snow and static is contained on this forum and on migraine aura.org. Every post is valuable!!! IanKC, as one of the oldest members, and administrator, can you give your opinion to this?

Posts: 2955 11/20/07 7:41 PM Administrator	Well, before we had this "persistent migraine aura" diagnosis to go on everyone was pretty much throwing out a different idea every day. They still are, but to a much lesser degree. I think a lot of people are still skeptical about the diagnosis given the lack of successful treatment, so they still look elsewhere for answers. However, the board over the past year or so has definitely become more positive and hopeful due to Sofia Greene's study, as well as the study in Scotland. Before we could never get a doctor to take us seriously, now we have doctors seeking us out for information. I think the general mood of the board has shifted, as I said. People are much more hopeful, but people are also still frustrated.
