Visual snow or static

Anyone else taking Atenolol?

I have been perscribed them today, ever since i took the first pill i have had a bit of a headache and felt faint. It seems to have also made the visual snow a bit worse already! Anyone else taking/taken it?

Anyone associated visual snow with too much computer use?

I was wondering if anyone has associated symptoms with computer use. I am a software engineer and spend my entire life on a computer using LCD displays. I am wondering if there is some sublimital static effect on my vision from LCDs.

Nutrilenk is the name of the thing that for some reason reduces visual snow for me, i bought it since i heard it was very good for joints and after i begin taken it i've noticed visual snow much less

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone here ever wakes up (sleeping yet the dream kinda makes you awake) after having a dream and seeing blobs/images of things within your vision with your eyes closed? I get this sometimes and am wondering if anyone else notices this too. On a side note, my VS is getting horrible when I first wake up in morning, much more than it used to but it dies down after 30-40 mins. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi, I know a lot of people here have experience with Anxiety/Depression medication. In the morning my doctor is going to put me on medication ( I don't know what it's called) to help me relax and I was just wondering if there is any chance it can make the VS worse. Is there any know anxiety meds that i should stay away from, I am really worried about going on any type of medication in case it makes the VS worse or if i become dependent on it. Accepted into NIH Study

The National Institute of Health called me this morning to tell me that I have been accepted into the Undiagnosed Diseases Program. She said that their study will be investigational, not necessarily therapeutic. In other words, don't expect a cure...just maybe some answers as to why my vision is so distorted and when it gets super distorted, I have seizures. I'll take what I can get!

It was posted on the 'things that have helped' forum by Chaz. Apparently tested & now cured due to an electrolyte imbalance. Has anyone got any more information about this or has anyone been tested in the past & come back positive. Even if Chaz is still about, it would be nice to openly chat about your experiences in this forum.

GAS / WATER RIPPLES?

Someone else mentioned seeing ripples at night and it is something I have been meaning to ask for a while.

Who else sees what looks like gas or water ripples? Its only very soft during the day but i can see it when i look at a plain wall. At night it becomes much more obvious like in the picture below.

Hi, ever since my VS started 18months ago I have had pain in the middle of my forehead and along my eyebrows. I also have a lot of trouble everyday keeping my top eyelids up and my eyelashes out of my vision, it feels like the whole top half of my head is trying to fall down into my eyes? Iv been to the doctor and they don't care, does anybody know what this could be and how I can stop it?

I meant to touch on this a while back but keep forgetting so while it's fresh in my mind, I will tell all now.

To cut a long story short, I'm a big football fan here in the U.K (Soccer to you guy's in the U.S). I'm a season ticket holder so go mostly every week home & away.

He was wondering if I was actually seeing the color reflections. For instance when ur eyes see red that means the object u are looking at obsorbs blue and green and reflects red at different variation percentages. Double Vision

Along with all of the other symptoms I have double vision. It seems really bad in low light, but is also pretty bad in better light. it is by far the most annoying syptom. it appears to only happen with contrasting colours, such as white on black, orange on black, ect. it also seems to be far worse if I open my eyes wide. I carry glasses it and seems to be worse when I take them off. Is this also a symptom of visual snow?
